ServiceMaster Recovery Services has been around since 1976, serving various areas in southeastern and northeastern Wisconsin. We primarily support homes and businesses in the following areas, Green, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Sheboygan, Walworth and Waukesha, Oconto, Forest, Marinette, Menominee, Dickinson, Delta, Marquette, Baraga, and Houghton counties.
Originally a home-grown business, owners Jim and Bonnie Cyganiak have built their company from the ground up. Their three sons assisted the couple until they began to hire industry-trained professionals for additional help in 1980. The franchise continued to expand, and in 1984 Jim purchased a new territory in West Allis, Wauwatosa, and New Berlin. By this time, the company had grown significantly and was fully staffed with crew members, cutting-edge equipment, and multiple service vehicles.
Jim and Bonnie’s franchise also provided an exclusive service: cleaning aircraft interiors. Jim has cleaned aircraft interiors for legendary musical groups like Boston, Chicago, and Fleetwood Mac. Additionally, he has cleaned planes for Philip Morris, Briggs & Stratton, and Congoleum. Around this time, the company began to take a more active role in local disaster repairs and restoration services.
